


In 2018, when Suzanne was carrying in many boxes of art for the centered: slightly off-center art show, an unkempt young member asked if he could help. His looks and actions inspired a Jesus painting.
Six years later, The Jesus Project collaboration was conceived. Members were invited to take a black and white print and create their own vision/version of Jesus, using the medium and style of their choice. The project continued in 2025, using a new version/vision of Jesus

Easter 2024, the YMCA started The Jesus Project, inviting any and everyone to create their own version of Jesus using a pre-printed outline. The results were astounding, and can be viewed under The Jesus Project section of the A&H Gallery at the YMCA website.
