Before moving to Ohio, Kevin worked in a Michigan state institution as a caregiver to people with mental and developmental disabilities. After retiring, he relocated to Columbiana to be closer to his beloved sister, Martha. Open heart surgery necessitated a move to the Inn at Glenellen in North Lima. Not one to sit around, Kevin began attending the painting classes, and found that art basically saved his sanity. Although the class is only held twice a month, he keeps a plethora of art supplies in his apartment and makes art everyday, colored pencils as his medium of choice (though he’s game to try anything he finds on YouTube!).
